All CTS IGERT students are eligible to receive funding to support extended international research experiences. Please check with the Program Coordinator for the most current budget guidelines.

Follow this process for setting up your international experiences:

  1. Submit a proposal to the Program Coordinator for forwarding on to the Executive Committee/Project Director (Prof. Wolfson). This proposal should be developed with input from your advisor(s), and should include an estimated budget and research statement (up to 1 page, summarizing research goals for the visit). Please also include contact information for your hosting institution.
  2. Upon your proposal's approval by the Executive Committee, assist the IGERT Program Coordinator in obtaining an invitation from the host institution.
  3. Student should work with the Program Coordinator and CS department staff to make travel arrangements.
  4. Upon completion of your visit, submit a summary report (approximately 1 page) on your international experience to the Program Coordinator for publishing on the CTS website.
