Caitlin has completed her PhD.

Congratulations, Caitlin!

Caitlin is a PhD student in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Her primary research interests are in the impacts of surveillance on traveler behavior and the maintenance of privacy in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). She received her B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1999, and her M.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2003.

Caitlin's current research is concentrated on evaluating the willingness of travelers to share demographic and route information based on travel survey information. Her advisor is Dr. Piyushimita (Vonu) Thakuriah (Urban Planning).

Prior to her graduate studies, Caitlin was employed as a transportation planner at the Mid-America Regional Council in Kansas City, MO-KS.
